Our M-Series mobile power pack enables you to test parts which are too large and/or too heavy to be inspected using standard fixed-position MPI test benches. Ruggedly built, you can take the M-Series to the part that needs to be tested and it will locate defects in any direction, using prods, central conductors or coils.

Our test bench units set the standard for MPI inspection, providing the flexibility and field intensity to find surface and sub-surface defects across a wide range of parts. In addition, they have the versatility of using AC ,HWDC or FWDC magnetisation, and both outputs are independently adjustable to set each magnetic field to circular or longitudinal. Magnetisation shot time is also adjustable, allowing better development of indications.

Featuring sealed chemical-resistant construction, articulating legs to contour to any part shape and robust strain-relieved twelve-foot cord for field use, the Y-7 is ideal for inspection of welds and other remote testing.
Solid-state controls allow the operator to use AC magnetic fields for surface indications or DC magnetic fields for sub-surface indications to meet all inspection needs.
